I used a lighter weight yarn that was still slightly chunky and had great texture. I wanted to use up my purple but knew I wouldn’t have enough so I added some of the green yarn of the same kind I had on hand. Since I used a lighter weight, I discovered that I had to make 13 rows and added 6 rows of double crochet to the wide end to make it a longer rectangle so it would be ‘cowl-like’. Great pattern! Will use again!
