Free Crochet Bird Pattern – 3rd Project

The day continues with the third project of “my big crochet idea“: a free crochet pattern for birds! Inspired by Kathleen’s post: “I’d love to see these cute little birds!! got to work as soon as I saw the picture.

After three tries, I finally crocheted what I deemed to be a good bird shape.  How cute are they?!  So  adorable. They take only minutes to make and a few yards of yarn.

Thank you for this adorable pattern – Quick, easy but most importantly, adorable! I made these up into bookmarks for my granddaughters -they are avid readers (9 & 11) and have birds (English Budgies). I have crocheted countless amigurumis for them, things to play with, and things to wear. It was great to see how much they loved their “bird bookmarks!” Thank you again for the pattern!

I love this pattern very much! It’s quick and easy ( not like so many bird patterns). I belong to a cruising group that hides ducks. So I made some in yellow with an orange beak. It was a hit, and I have given this link to everyone that asks! Thank you for making this.
